The top 10 Smartphones sold on the US market

IDC revealed the top 10 Smartphones sold in United States, and you could be surprised by the name of the leader.

In Latitude-Sedona we would have bet on Apple and its iPhone but the current leadership is owned by RIM with its BlackBerry Curve. Apple is “only” second. The top shows that Palm is in a really bad mood. The Pre didn’t seem to help the firm  that much to come back to the top 5.

Here is the American Smartphones Market Top Ten:

  2. iPhone 3GS
  3. BlackBerry Pearl
  4. iPhone 3G
  5. BlackBerry Bold
  6. BlackBerry Storm
  7. HTC Dream
  8. Palm Pre
  9. HTC Touch Pro
  10. HTC Touch Diamond
